Yahoo Mail End-to-End Encryption plan to be implemented Next Year

As on August 8 2014, Alex Stamos - Chief Information Security Officer of Yahoo! made a new announcement that the company shall start giving its consumers the option of end-to-end encryption in its mail service by next year.

The Idea is derieved as a copycat from Google Inc, which showed off  a PGP-based encryption plugin for gmail in June 2014. Yahoo! is looking forward to offer a similar kind of service that is modified version of the same.

The PGP plugin is designed in such a way that only senders and recipients will be able to read the messages, even the email service providers won't be able to decrypt the messages.

Yahoo email users can reportedly send safe and secure messages between Yahoo users. This plan of action makes almost impossible for cyber criminals, highly resourceful spying by the US government and its Five Eyes allies to read the private messages.

This project has been laid an highest priority by Yahoo! Inc. Encrypted email would be easier to use, with little or no efforts, the company sources said.

This new move by Yahoo! will bring the company under the list of most secure technology companies in mail service among web giants such as, Microsoft Corporation and Google Inc.
